Customizing Client Invoices in Kindred Practice

Kindred Practice offers various options to tailor invoices according to your practice’s needs, including branding, specific information fields, and custom messages.

1. Accessing Invoice Settings

• Go to Settings and navigate to Payment Settings.

• Select Billing Settings to access Invoice Settings.

2. Previewing and Testing Invoices

• Preview Invoices: A real-time preview of the invoice appears on the right side of the screen. Update settings and view changes immediately.

• Sample Email: Send a sample invoice to yourself to see exactly how it will appear when sent to clients.

3. Customization Options

• Template Selection: Currently, there’s one template available, with more coming soon.

• Brand Colors: Choose a color for invoice accents, such as headings and text highlights. The default is gray, but you can change it to align with your practice colors.

• Brand Logo: The logo used on your Kindred Practice profile is automatically added. You can upload a different logo for invoices if desired.

• Custom Heading and Footer Text: Add specific lines to the header or footer. For example, therapists who are in training can add their supervisor’s name and license number in the header. Add a thank-you note or other message in the footer.

4. Setting Information Fields

• Practice and Therapist Details: Toggle fields on or off, including:

• Practice name

• Practice address

• Practice phone number

• Therapist name and license number

• Address and Contact Information Privacy: For solo practitioners who may use personal contact details, you can hide your address and phone number for privacy.

5. Saving and Finalizing Settings

• Save Changes: After adjusting settings, click Update to ensure changes are saved.

• Email Preview: Check the final email layout by sending a sample to yourself to confirm it looks as intended for clients.

These settings allow you to create polished, professional invoices that reflect your practice’s unique branding and specific needs.
