Integrate with your personal google calendar to see all of your calendar events in one place

**Setting Up Google Calendar Integration in Kindred Practice**

Kindred Practice offers one-way and two-way sync options for Google Calendar integration, making it easy to view and manage personal and professional events in one place.

**1\. Choosing a Sync Type**

• **One-Way Sync:** Displays events from Google Calendar on your Kindred Practice calendar, ideal for viewing personal events while scheduling appointments in Kindred Practice.

• **Two-Way Sync:** Displays events from Google Calendar on Kindred Practice, and also syncs Kindred Practice-created events back to Google Calendar, keeping both calendars updated with your latest schedule.

**2\. Marking Availability Based on Google Calendar**

• Enable this option to automatically block off time on Kindred Practice based on Google Calendar events. For example, if you have a personal event (e.g., taking your kids to school), Kindred Practice will mark that time as unavailable, preventing clients from booking during this period.

**3\. Connecting Your Google Account**

• **Add Calendar:** Click **Add Calendar** in Kindred Practice’s settings to begin the sync process.

• **Google Login:** Follow Google’s login flow, select your Google account, and grant permissions.

• **Permissions:** Ensure the top checkbox is selected to enable full syncing.

• **Loading Time:** Google will take a moment to transfer event data. The initial sync may take a few minutes.

**4\. Viewing Synced Events**

• Once synced, your Google Calendar events will appear on Kindred Practice’s calendar. Toggle events on or off as needed to streamline your view.

**5\. Adding Multiple Google Accounts**

• If you use multiple Google Calendars, you can add each account, allowing you to see all events within Kindred Practice.

This integration simplifies calendar management, allowing you to track all appointments and personal events in one place.
